Before First Deliverance: the path of requesting deliverance
If any part of this site is difficult to understand, you may ask an AI tool to explain the wording.
Notes on the applicant’s location
STDMC is in its 0-to-1 stage: opening a narrow first path. Current internet-based work is directed to people located in the United States, including people who are not U.S.-born. At this stage it is directed to Christians and to skeptics or atheists. It is not authorized to work with patients of other religions. The intended scope may expand to selected regions outside the United States in the 1-to-2 stage, with the same recipient groups. Work with people of other religions belongs to the later 3-to-100 stage.
The first step is not completing a form, but self-help and mutual shepherding of host and spirits
Except in DID cases, spirits in a patient may know the patient’s thoughts and understanding at any time. The first step is to read the STDMC site carefully—not only for oneself, but so that any possessing spirits understand that harmful conduct has consequences. Many patients hear voices; conversation through those voices is an early warning and shepherding stage. In past cases, after reading the site and using the Worship Response Channel for private prayer, spirits began to repent under the Kindling Grace of Christ, and a person’s distress eased.
The host should first become the first pastor for the possessing spirit. Only when possessing spirits truly submit to Christ, under Christ’s teaching and discipline, can malice turn toward goodwill. The host should also form fellowship with the many spirits within and practice mutual shepherding—this is the foundation for reducing recurring suffering.
In practical terms: read the STDMC site seriously and devoutly, participate constructively in the STDMC Reddit discussion space, and use the Worship Response Channel for private prayer. These acts are self-help and mutual shepherding of host and spirits.
Read the Second Deliverance material on the grades and classifications of possessing spirits carefully. Score your own situation with the X–Y–Z coordinates. Estimate how many spirits may be involved, and describe any RPO effects placed between yourself and family members. These fields are required on the application. The more accurate and detailed the account, the higher the priority and the more readily help can be arranged.
- Complete the application on the STDMC website
- In the STDMC Reddit group, identify a Shepherd of spirits you consider trustworthy
- After priority class and registration time are considered, a Shepherd of spirits arranges the next step according to the waiting-list process
Stated priority principles
Because many people live with mental, mood, epileptic, or somatization disorders, and because Shepherds of spirits and Whip-Bearing Pastors are few in the early stage, STDMC cannot help a large number of people at once. Requests are queued.
The priority principles for the queue are as follows.
First priority: those who give major constructive help to STDMC
Examples include:
- helping establish Video-EEG witness centers in churches;
- helping convene or call one hundred Shepherds of spirits;
- helping arrange Demon Discipline Centers in fifty churches;
- people with public influence;
- substantial financial support for the work of STDMC (gifts may be given confidentially).
These are only examples. Major help can take many forms. Think carefully and submit supporting materials with the application.
Do not break a promise, and do not exaggerate. False commitment invites Christ’s judgment.
Those without major help: Classes A / B / C / D
Those without major help are placed in four classes. Within each class, order follows registration time.
Class A — three conditions
- Publicly named witness: willingness to publish one’s situation and deliverance account under a real name, under public scrutiny.
- An existing public voice for sharing the gospel: substantial online following or social reach that can carry the message quickly.
- Future willingness to serve as a Shepherd of spirits or a First-Hand Evidence Witness.
Class B — two conditions
- Publicly named witness: willingness to publish one’s situation and deliverance account under a real name, under public scrutiny.
- Future willingness to serve as a Shepherd of spirits or a First-Hand Evidence Witness.
Class C — one condition
Publicly named witness: willingness to publish one’s situation and deliverance account under a real name, under public scrutiny.
Class D — one condition
Anonymous or screen-name witness: willingness to publish one’s situation and deliverance account under an anonymous or online name, under public scrutiny.
Additional factors within the same class
Within each of the four classes, queue priority is also affected by these two factors:
- Self-help discussion points: Before applying, activity points in the STDMC Reddit main group’s self-help discussion. Serious study of the site and active discussion of the first step of First Deliverance are themselves self-help and self-shepherding. Group points are how attitude is visible; higher points mean higher priority.
- Case value for research: Cases of research value for Spirit Medicine—for example epilepsy, or situations that more clearly show Christ’s deliverance rather than materialist medical force alone, such as medication-resistant cases—receive higher priority. There is no single score; reflect on this when you apply.
Major help, including financial support, may be considered for queue priority. It does not purchase grace, an outcome guarantee, or a ministry office, and every case is still accepted only after human review of safety, capacity, consent, and applicable law.
Outline of the First Deliverance path
Possessing spirits produce host illness through only two kinds of cause:
- Will: including malice or ignorance.
- Physiological invasion and parasitism by spirits, independent of will.
First Deliverance works along both directions.
By disease kind, you can see the approximate path of First Deliverance.
1. Schizophrenia-spectrum conditions and OCD
Most patients have multiple possessing spirits. At least one is demon-level and malicious; others may not be. With family accompaniment, the person goes to a partner church’s Demon Discipline Center. Ending malice is the first principle of release.
2. Dissociative disorders
DPD cases involve at least one malicious spirit and also go, with family, to a Demon Discipline Center. DID cases do not always involve malice; home shepherding by a Shepherd of spirits may come first. Other subtypes depend on the case.
3. Bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder
Most spirits involved are malicious. Home discernment by a Shepherd of spirits or a Class-C-or-above Whip-Bearing Pastor comes first.
4. Depression, anxiety, PTSD, and somatization accompanying mental disorder
A smaller share of spirits are malicious. Home discernment by a Shepherd of spirits or a Class-C-or-above Whip-Bearing Pastor comes first.
5. Epilepsy
Usually a malicious spirit of limited capacity. Home discernment by a Whip-Bearing Pastor comes first, then help and Spirit Medicine documentation at a partner church’s Video-EEG center. Epilepsy cases have priority for help.
Flowchart: Self-help and mutual shepherding of host and spirits
Whip-Bearing Pastor uses Control Type 1 or another grace; Whip-Bearing Pastor or Shepherd of spirits examines and determines etiology.
Then the path divides by whether the spirits are willing to submit to Christ.
Includes ignorant, neutral, silent, kind, and near-heavenly spirits.

This deliverance is carried out only in the spirit. At no stage is there bodily contact with the person. “Death” means the unclean spirit is destroyed. It never means the person.
