This chapter develops the “physiology of the post-mortem spirit body” in the general framework: no independent eyes; ethereal matter and electrical properties; form; organs; metabolism; and structural conditions for interaction with the host.
For RPO details, see Foundation Knowledge VII.
I. What Is a Spirit (Ghost)?
In Spirit Medicine, Spirit (Ghost) refers to a spirit body that continues to exist after a person dies; in external theological wording, it is described as an unclean spirit or possessing spirit.
It is neither an unchanged relocation of a living person’s spirit body nor the translucent human figure imagined in culture.
Entry into a second stage of life after death depends on conscious management and modification: how energy is supplied, how much memory remains, whether possession is possible, and what constrains behavior are not simply “natural givens.”
Post-mortem functional properties are non-natural.
This chapter addresses physiology only: matter, form, senses, organs, metabolism, and the structural conditions for interaction with a host.
It does not provide procedures for summoning, confronting, or removing spirits.
For the Second Deliverance ontology of existence—possession is not purgatory, the four quadrants, energy-supply branches, and the naming bridge for purgatory—see The Existence States of Spirit (Ghost).
The two chapters complement one another: this one focuses on pathogenic anatomy, while the Second Deliverance page focuses on post-mortem existence and the names of its states.
Discernment is under the authority of Christ; this is not learning by consulting the dead.
II. Spirit (Ghost) Has No Independent Eyes
Many cultures assume that souls retain eyes after death so they can see rulers of the underworld, fields, hell, or deities.
This chapter’s central conclusion is the opposite:
- A living person’s spirit body has no independent visual organ.
- Therefore, it is even less possible for it suddenly to grow independent eyes after death.
- A post-mortem spirit body is like one that has lost the ethereal body of the eyes, and cannot itself see the light and forms of the physical world.
- It “sees” the world by using the host’s vision, hearing, bodily sensation, and 3D brain screen.
2.1 Evidence from Living Persons: Extraordinary Function and the Brain Screen
Phenomena such as character identification in Chinese research on extraordinary function suggest that information can reach the display surface of consciousness through the skin or at close range.
What participants described was not imaging through eyeballs carried by the soul, but the ethereal body of an object such as paper entering the head and unfolding on the brain screen.
This suggests that the subject carrying out “seeing” is spirit consciousness, while the sensors remain the physical visual system and its ethereal counterpart, rather than eyes belonging to the soul itself.
2.2 Evidence After Death: Borrowing the Host’s Window
If a post-mortem spirit body can still describe a physical scene after losing the ethereal body of the eyes, it is usually because:
- The host’s eyes and earsexternal cameras
- The host’s thought and brain screena display and reading window
- Possessing spiritThe possessing spirit reads the perceptions and consciousness outputs already formed by the host
They read the host’s formed perception — not independent vision.
In observational records, when the host did not know the number of pips on a card, the possessing spirit could not report it correctly; when the host knew it, it could.
This supports the proposition that they read the host’s window rather than using independent vision.
In dissociative experiences such as DID, when the original personality is moved to the “back seat,” it is often described as being a passenger or observer.
This is consistent with multiple subjects contending for the same sensory and control window.
2.3 Why Cultural Images Give Spirits (Ghosts) Eyes
Culture projects the five senses of living people onto the post-mortem world.
Spirit Medicine does not deny the cultural meaning of these narratives, but at the physiological level it identifies them as projections rather than post-mortem anatomical facts.
III. Ethereal Matter: The Bodily Material and Electrical Properties of Spirit (Ghost)
3.1 The Material Itself
The material of the post-mortem spirit body is called ethereal matter.
Its key points are as follows:
- It is not known atomic or molecular material.
- Ethereal matter, ethereal energy, and conscious tendency form an inseparable triad and cannot be treated merely as an “invisible energy field.”
- In its ordinary state it has no ordinary refractive index, is usually invisible to the naked eye, and can pass through most ordinary matter.
- It has cohesion, making it a distinguishable individual rather than an infinitely dispersed mist.
- It can load, unload, and gather charge, electrons, and related elements; this is the material basis for its electrical properties.
This model acknowledges that the particle model of ethereal matter remains under exploration.
What this model holds is that it has materiality, can gather, metabolize, and be injured, and is not merely metaphorical.
3.2 Electrical Properties: Why Spirit (Ghost) Can Enter the “Electrical Discharge” Layer
If a possessing spirit can induce epilepsy, what is the material basis of that pathogenic effect?
Consciousness takeover, analogous to a software intrusion, can explain some schizophrenia and dissociative disorders, but cannot explain abnormal synchronous neuronal discharge.
Epilepsy occurs at the level of the physical body’s bioelectricity.
Therefore, if a post-mortem spirit body can become pathogenic at this level, it cannot be merely “pure consciousness without material.”
The framework in this system is that Spirit (Ghost) affects humans through at least four pathways:
- Consciousnesspath
- Electric energypath
- Spiritual energypath
- Extraordinary-function pathwaypath
Electric energy is the pathway this chapter explains in detail.
The electric-energy pathway is the one this chapter explains separately.
(1) Spirit (Ghost) Matter Can Release Charge
Observational records indicate that a possessing spirit can release charge outward and regulate the amount released.
In observation, a possessing spirit can use an extended structure (a tentacle, reaching up to about three meters outside the body) to change the taste of wine or a drink in a cup; charge from dry batteries and similar sources can restore the original taste; when people treat drinks with electrostatic devices at different voltages, taste changes vary with voltage strength.
By the possessing spirit’s own account, it made wine “spicy” by releasing positive charge; the same kind of charge release was also used to explain how it triggered epilepsy-like stimulation in the host.
The inference is direct:
- 01Able to release and regulate charge
- 02→ The body of Spirit (Ghost) is not pure software
- 03→ Ethereal matter has observable electrical properties
- 04→ It can enter the bioelectrical interaction layer of the human nervous system
(2) Bioelectricity Is a Natural Spirit-Flesh Interface; External Electrical Stimulation Causes Dysregulation
Bioelectricity is a natural feature of interaction between a human being’s own spirit body and physical body.
Neuronal action potentials, autonomic fluctuations, and muscular excitation all depend on charge distribution and electric current.
When the spirit body of a possessing spirit enters, it amounts to adding external charge stimulation to this interface.
The “electrical stimulation and bioelectric interference” in the general framework’s shared pathology across diagnostic categories belongs here.
It does not require the claim that “all epilepsy is caused by possession”—the proportion described by possessing spirits in observational records concerns only some cases; this chapter establishes only a proposed mechanism: if Spirit (Ghost) matter can discharge electricity, it could be an upstream cause of some epilepsy and somatization.
(3) External Corroboration: Electromagnetic Phenomena in NDEs and Extraordinary Function
Electromagnetic aftereffects in near-death-experience (NDE) literature can also serve as collateral evidence: some experiencers report anomalies involving watches, batteries, computers, mobile phones, bulbs, streetlights, and other electronic devices.
This does not automatically mean that “every person carries a strong electromagnetic field,” but it suggests that after strong changes in spirit-body state, charge or electromagnetic interference can enter the observable layer and is not an isolated anecdote.
Chinese research on extraordinary function also contains records of millivolt-level potentials in the palm and changes in magnetic fields.
These are not the same experiments as possession by Spirit (Ghost), but they belong to the same family of material suggesting that ethereal activity may be accompanied by measurable electromagnetic changes.
What experimental pages such as Video EEG are intended to test is distinguishable, repeatable discharge projections under predefined conditions, not the direct conversion of cultural stories into medical conclusions.
IV. Form: Possessing and Disembodied States
Spirit (Ghost) has no fixed human form, facial features, or clothing.
After possession, the body often sits toward one side of the host and is asymmetrical from left to right.
High-density areas can move; where they remain often becomes a structural anchor for pain, pressure, somatization, or psychological symptoms.
Skin is not a hard boundary between spirit body and physical body.
Spirit (Ghost) can be partly inside and partly outside the body, and can also overlap clothing, bedding, a house, or another possessing spirit.
V. Organ Systems
5.1 Five Main Functional Organs
The post-mortem spirit body has five main functional organs:
- Memory organ: retains or loses memories from life and from the period of possession.
- Energy-supply organ: draws and stores energy from the host, earth, and ethereal environment.
- Consciousness-thinking organ: judgment, language-like information, and reading and interfering with the host’s consciousness.
- Emotional organ: fear, depression, anger, attachment, and related states; it is often near the thinking organ.
- RPO (Remote Port Organ): remote energy acquisition, emotional transmission, access, and field relations.
A small number of possessing spirits can also form extended structures such as consciousness tentacles for close-range connection and control.
Tentacles partly correspond to RPOs and partly to close-range consciousness connections.
These organs are functional properties retained, rewritten, or conferred after death; they are not unchanged copies of the seven major spirit-brain organs of living people.
For example, living people have two consciousness centers, one at the brain location and one at the heart location; ordinary Spirit (Ghost) often retains only a thinking center closer to the 3D brain-screen type, while an independent heart “bubble-gun” structure is rarely observed or has already merged.
5.2 The Position of the Thinking Organ Determines the Diagnostic Window
After possession, the location where thought-related structures remain determines what they can read and interfere with:
A silent possessing spirit can remain elsewhere, may not actively read the host’s thoughts, and is not necessarily pathogenic.
5.3 Memory Parameters Are Non-Natural
The amount of memory retained after death shows clear regional and management differences.
For example, in North American observations many ordinary possessing spirits have fragmented memories of their prior identities, whereas some possessing spirits in East Asia retain stronger identity memories.
These differences should be understood as configured parameters, not as results of natural evolution.
Memory anomalies also include mechanisms such as amnesia during possession and blocked channels.
They explain “why some possessing spirits cannot clearly say who they are,” and “why hosts can also have periods of inaccessible memory.”
For details and case comparisons, see the pathology chapters.
VI. Energy Metabolism
Ordinary Spirit (Ghost) cannot survive stably over the long term on a “natural post-mortem environment.”
It requires continuous energy input.
The metabolic rhythm is broadly this: consumption is very low during rest, like being half-asleep; once energy has accumulated to a certain point, episodic interference is more easily triggered; after depletion, relative calm returns.
This can be compared with intermittent episodes in psychological and emotional disorders, but not every intermittent episode can be attributed to it.
Spirit (Ghost) itself often lacks a complete excretory system.
Metabolic waste is discharged through the host’s spirit body and may present as gastrointestinal disturbance or other functional dysregulation.
The two points in the general framework—“drawing energy” and “using the host for excretion”—belong here.
High-density energy-absorption areas are commonly found at the soles, calves, knees, around the sexual organs, around the kidneys, and the liver and stomach; they are relatively less common in the upper limbs and parts of the torso.
A distribution map is used to understand somatization and local symptoms; it is not an operational map.
VII. Interaction Structure with the Host
7.1 Consciousness Relationship: One-Way Transparency Upward
A common structure is that a lower-level possessing spirit’s thought can be read by a higher-level one, while the higher-level spirit’s intentions are not necessarily transparent to the lower one; human hosts usually cannot see the internal thought of an ordinary possessing spirit.
Discernment of falsehood does not rest on intimidation, but on whether the discerning party holds checkable information about that possessing spirit’s physiological and pathological structure.
7.2 Electrical Stimulation and Bioelectricity (Continuing Section III)
Section III has explained that ethereal matter can release and regulate charge.
Additional electrical stimulation after possession may project as
The same electrical properties can also explain phenomena in observational records such as extra-somatic extensions changing the taste of liquids and batteries restoring the original taste: these are not mythic performances, but traces left by charge at the material level.
For detailed mechanisms and case proportions, defer to the experimental pages; this chapter fixes only the physiological proposition that Spirit (Ghost) matter has electrical properties and can enter the human bioelectric interface.
7.3 Emotional Empathy and Burden
When thought and emotional structures are near the heart, a possessing spirit can perceive the host’s emotions in parallel and can also transmit its own fear, depression, and loneliness to the host.
Part of persecutory delusion comes from the possessing spirit’s fear that “the host is being harmed,” fed back through the empathy channel.
Relational burden, the field of a house, and networks of relatives and friends are carried more through the RPO.
See Foundation Knowledge VII.
VIII. Spirit Bodies Can Be Classified (See Dedicated Chapters)
Post-mortem spirit bodies are not all the same, and they are not necessarily in a possessing state. Spirit Medicine and Second Deliverance share one classification model, used to distinguish differences in intent, effect capacity, and range of control.
The full model is in Second Deliverance; human-facing reading and selection of grace are in Control methods and Release Process. This chapter does not expand details or provide operations.
IX. Physiological Conclusions of This Chapter
A post-mortem spirit body is material life; it has electrical properties and can release or regulate charge; it has no independent eyes; its form is non-human; its organ functions are non-natural; its metabolism depends on the host and environment; and position and density determine pathological windows.
